My People is a private, on-device people file that remembers the small things about the people you care about — so you can be present instead of scrambling. Built first for neurodivergent brains, made for anyone who wants to love their people well.
The app doesn't decide what's important — the person using it does. My People just makes sure that when it counts, you remember.
The walk-in people file
Sort the people in your life into groups and subgroups — Family, Work, Book Club, Neighbors — and open a group to swipe through profiles before an event. Pin the must-know details in a highlighted box at the top of each profile. Link partners, children, and grandchildren so related people stay connected.
Conversation prep, right before you need it
A single-screen summary of the talking points you chose for each person — for the moment before you step into a room or answer a call. Calendar matching can link event attendees to their profiles when their invitation email matches someone in My People, and suggests matches by name when it doesn't (a feature suggested by my 12-year-old son) — so a few minutes of review is all it takes.
Intentional follow-ups
Log a quick note after you spend time with someone — if a neighbor mentions her husband's surgery next week, capture it and set a reminder to check in. For check-ins, birthdays, and anniversaries, reminders can include a pre-written message you can send in a tap. With a group, apply one shared note to everyone present and add individual details on the same screen.
Private by architecture
Everything is processed and stored on your device. No accounts, no cloud servers, no analytics, no tracking — the app qualifies for the App Store's strictest "Data Not Collected" label. When you want a safety net, create a password-protected, encrypted backup file and save it wherever you choose. It's encrypted with a password you choose, so keep it somewhere safe — it can't be recovered if it's lost.
Low-stress setup
Start with two people, not two hundred. Simple Mode and gentle prompts let the app grow with you. Add details with shortcodes or let Detect Info surface names and dates from a note you paste.
Flexible to your world
Add, hide, or customize fields to track exactly what matters — a student's roommates, a retiree's golf group, a D&D campaign, a sourdough starter. Fields can even apply to specific groups.
Built for every brain
The whole app follows your phone's text size, works with VoiceOver and TalkBack, offers higher-contrast and reduced-motion modes, and includes an optional Atkinson Hyperlegible font. Labels stay calm and readable throughout.
